KOLKATA: A drunk woman allegedly kissed a policeman after she was pulled over for getting into an accident at bypass Chingrighata Mor here.
Police said the 38-year-old woman was driving under the influence of alcohol. She was returning from a party and a man and another woman were with her in the car at the time of the accident.
First, the woman hit a divider on the bypass road. When a taxi driver attempted to rescue her, she allegedly started beating him.
Bidhannagar (South) police station and l traffic guard police said when a constable tried to pull out the woman and her friends, she embraced the constable and started kissing him.
To control the situation, police asked a local woman for assistance, who helped the cops lead the drunk woman and her two friends to the police station.
The trio were booked for drunk and rash driving. They're residents of and are also members of the area's committee.
